About this place
At Yuki, diners have praised the generous pieces of octopus and soft, melting centre of the takoyaki. Some say the texture of the batter also made an impression, making the classic version a tempting place to start.
Seasonings include sauce, soy sauce, ponzu, salt and mentaiko sauce, with combinations featuring mayonnaise and ichimi chilli also on the menu. One reported order split the takoyaki between salted mayo and sauce mayo for a side-by-side taste; several diners have singled out the salted mayo as a favourite. For a lighter flavour, try ponzu, or add a little heat to the sauce with “sauce + mayo + ichimi”.
Some diners have also ordered takoyaki with spring onion, or added it to both the salted and classic sauce versions. Spring onion is listed as a topping, so you can add it after choosing your seasoning.
For another bite, the menu lists takosen at ¥100 for 1 pieces. It’s another option to take away alongside the takoyaki. There is no dine-in service; orders are for takeaway. A lunch menu is available, making it an option for lunch too.
